Corporate History & Philosophy

Hau Chang Enterprise Co., Ltd. has forged aluminum in Lukang, Taiwan since 2003. Forging and CNC machining were in-house from the first year; heat treatment, anodizing and a material lab followed. Today every stage from billet to finished, tested part happens inside one factory.

Vertical Integration

Forging, T6 heat treatment, CNC machining, sandblasting, anodizing, laser marking and inspection are done under one roof. No stage waits on an outside vendor, one batch keeps one record from billet to shipment, and one contact answers for the whole part.

Advanced Material Science & Quality Assurance

The in-house lab has an optical emission spectrometer, hardness testers, a color metallographic microscope, a Zeiss CMM and a fatigue test rig. Hardness is checked on every heat treatment load. Composition, grain structure and fatigue life are verified when a customer needs the data, and the report ships with the parts. ISO 9001:2015 certified.

Strategic Engineering & Development Partner

Bring a drawing or 3D model at the development stage and we review it before tooling is made: draft angles, parting line, fillet radii, alloy choice and machining datums. Most sample-stage problems are decided on the drawing, and that is where we catch them. Forging, machining and finishing are then held to one set of tolerances under one roof.

    Company Founded
    Hau Chang Enterprise Co., Ltd. established in Lukang, Changhua, Taiwan. Aluminum forging as the core business from day one.
  • 2004·EQUIPMENT
    Forging Press & CNC
    First forging press and CNC machining centers installed. Forging and machining under one roof from the start.
  • 2013·EQUIPMENT
    Coordinate Measuring Machine
    First CMM installed for dimensional inspection of forged and machined parts.
  • 2015·EQUIPMENT
    OES Spectrometer
    Optical emission spectrometer installed for elemental analysis of incoming billets and heat treatment planning.

    Metallography & Simulation
    Color metallographic microscope and forming simulation software added to study grain structure and die design.
  • 2018·MILESTONE
    Material LAB Launch
    In-house Material Lab established, including a fatigue test rig for load-life verification of production parts.
  • 2020·MILESTONE
    In-House Heat Treatment
    Heat treatment brought in-house with our own solution and aging furnaces. Sandblasting line, FANUC Robodrill and Zeiss CMM added the same year.
  • 2024·MILESTONE
    Surface Treatment Expansion
    Acquired factory land and constructed in-house anodizing facility. New factory land acquired for the anodizing plant. Robotic polishing arm and NX CAM programming added the same year.
  • 2025·EQUIPMENT
    3D Scanning & Energy Storage
    3D scanning system deployed for die verification and full-surface inspection of forged parts against the CAD model. On-site energy storage installed to run furnaces and presses on stored solar power and keep production going through grid interruptions.
  • 2026·MILESTONE
    In-House Anodizing
    In-house anodizing plant comes online, completing the surface treatment line: sandblasting, anodizing, laser engraving and pad printing under one roof.
Where is Hau Chang located?

Lukang Township, Changhua County, Taiwan. Forging, heat treatment, machining and surface treatment are all in the same factory.

Is Hau Chang ISO certified?

Yes, ISO 9001:2015. Hardness is checked on every heat treatment load; composition, metallography and fatigue testing are available on request.

Does Hau Chang do heat treatment and anodizing in-house?

Heat treatment has been in-house since 2020. The in-house anodizing plant is scheduled to come online in 2026; until then anodizing is handled by a qualified partner.
